How Induction Bearing Heating Works
A three-phase supply is rectified, smoothed, and converted by an inverter into an AC field at 10–25 kHz. That field is applied to the bearing magnetically through an inductor coil. Because the frequency is relatively high, the field concentrates in the outer layer of the workpiece — heating it rapidly and evenly. The result: the bearing's inner ring expands enough to slide onto the shaft with zero mechanical force, then a built-in demagnetisation cycle leaves the component clean and ready for service.
