How Induction Bearing Heating Works
A three-phase supply is rectified and smoothed, then an inverter converts it into an AC field between 10 and 25 kHz. Applied to the bearing through an inductor coil, this high-frequency field heats the outer layer of the workpiece quickly and evenly. The inner ring expands, slips onto the shaft with no force, and an automatic demagnetisation cycle finishes the job clean.
